By Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria №50/07.04.2022, a new Ordinance on the procedure for forming, submitting, and considering oppositions under the Law of trademarks and Geographic Indications (LTGI) was adopted.
The newly adopted ordinance aims to correct the discrepancies between the LTGI, which entered into force in 2019, and the Ordinance on the Procedure for Forming, Submitting, and Considering Oppositions in force until 12.04.2022 as well as Filling of gaps in the law.
This normative act seeks to facilitate the entire process related to opposition proceedings.
