Krasimira Kadieva is a Bulgarian and European trademark and design attorney, who graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of National and World Economy in 2007. From 2009 – to 2010 she specialized in International Business Law at Queen Mary College, University of London. She has fourteen years of practical experience in negotiations, drafting of legal documents, and representing clients in the field of intellectual property, privacy and data protection, internet law, and e-commerce as well as commercial law as from 2013 she develops her private practice.
The narrow professional orientation of Krasimira Kadieva is related to intellectual property, privacy and data protection, internet law, and e-Commerce. She offers comprehensive analysis and strategy for the effective protection of intellectual property rights, mainly trademarks, industrial designs, patents, utility models, geographical indications, and copyrights, both at the time of registration and in violation of the rights thereto. Krasimira Kadieva assists Bulgarian and foreign clients in all types of industrial property rights registrations by providing professional advice and preparation of all necessary documents. Krasimira Kadieva has gained extensive experience and provides a wide range of legal services to clients in the field of personal data protection. With regard to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Krasimira Kadieva advises her clients on the duties of administrators and personal data processors in line with the new requirements of the GDPR, as well as adapting the practice of clients with the new requirements of the Regulation by preparing the full set of documents (more than 40 documents) required for legal implementation and compliance. The legal services provided by Krasimira Kadieva in the field of Internet law and e-Commerce are focused on the drafting documents for doing business on the Internet, such as website terms and conditions of use, privacy policy, cookie policy, etc.
For improving her professional qualifications Krasimira Kadieva regularly attends conferences, practical courses, seminars, forums, and webinars in the field of intellectual property, privacy and data protection, internet law, and e-Commerce. She has been invited as a guest speaker at a seminar on the trademark registration procedure in October 2015. She has written numerous articles in the field of intellectual property law, privacy and data protection, internet law, and e-Commerce that discuss the most important IP matters, provide practical advice to businesses, and describe the last amendments of the legislation.
