On April 1, 2025, a seminar titled “IP Practitioners in Bulgaria” was held at the Balkan Palace Hotel – Sofia, attended by the team of our law firm. The seminar was organized by the Boards of Appeal of the European Union Intellectual Property Office, in partnership with the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The event aroused exceptional interest from practitioners in the field of intellectual property – industrial property representatives, lawyers, mediators, judges, etc., as case studies from the practices of the Boards of Appeal of the EUIPO and the Bulgarian judicial system were examined, related to Trademarks that are contrary to public order or accepted principles of morality, Bad faith applications for trademark registration, Unlawful filing of an application by an agent or representative of the trademark owner, as well as the Mediation Practice of the Boards of Appeal.
