In 2023, the European Commission created the Influencer Legal Hub to inform influencers of their legal obligations regarding their social media advertising activities, the protection of their intellectual property, and the avoidance of promoting counterfeit and pirated goods and services. The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) announces that, together with the European Commission, they are launching intellectual property training for influencers through the Influencer Legal Hub.
