The European Union Intellectual Property Office and the European Commission launch intellectual property training for influencers

In 2023, the European Commission created the Influencer Legal Hub to inform influencers of their legal obligations regarding their social media advertising activities, the protection of their intellectual property, and the avoidance of promoting counterfeit and pirated goods and services. The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) announces that, together with the European Commission, they are launching intellectual property training for influencers through the Influencer Legal Hub. Two videos have been created that provide useful information about copyright, trademarks and industrial designs.
