This website contains a number of publications /articles/ in the fields of trademarks and geographical indications, which were prepared and published during the repealed Law on Мarks and Geographical Indications. Following the entry into force of the new Law on Marks and Geographical Indications, we were able to update all the relevant publications concerning trademarks and geographical indications.
It is important to note that the Council of Ministers should, within 6 months from the entry into force of the new Law on Marks and Geographical Indications, adopt the by-laws on its implementation. Pending their adoption, the by-laws governing the implementation of the repealed Law on Marks and Geographical Indications shall apply, insofar as they do not contradict to the new Law on Marks and Geographical Indications. Therefore, once the by-laws governing the implementation of the new Law on Marks and Geographical Indications have been adopted, we will further update the already updated publications to be in line with the by-laws that are yet to be adopted.
