Every year, on 26 April, the World Intellectual Property Day is celebrated. The aim of the event is to “raise awareness of how patents, copyright, trademarks and designs impact on daily life” and “to celebrate creativity, and the contribution made by creators and innovators to the development of societies across the globe”. Various events are organized each year around the world, and each year the World Intellectual Property Day is associated with different theme or motto. This year’s motto is “Intellectual Property and Sports”. Congratulations to all colleagues dealing with this extremely interesting matter and wishes for a lot of success!
