On 23 January 2019, a new functionality has been introduced in the Electronic Services Portal on the website of the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, namely: the opposition decisions and the refusals of the experts regarding the examinations of trademark applications issued in 2017 and 2018 have been published as well as decisions on oppositions and appeals for all industrial property objects from 2018. The new decisions will be published on a regular basis, as the decisions published so far have been fully compliant with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We have become familiar with most of the practice of the Patent Office and will continue to be constantly informed about the newly posted decisions in order to be able to provide the highest quality legal services to our clients.
