In November 2019, we were contacted by a client who assigned us the registration of a combined national mark for the construction and repair of buildings. These services fall into class 37 of the Nice Classification of Goods and Services. Before applying the trademark for registration, we conducted a trademark clearance search and prepared a written legal analysis. We also provided information to the client about the registration procedure, as well as a brochure and e-book containing useful information about the trademarks and filed the trademark for registration at the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria. After we submitted the application for registration and received the filing number, we paid the first installment of the state fee. After the publication of the application in the bulletin of the Patent Office, no opposition and objections were filed within the stipulated three-month period, due to which the trademark was registered after we have paid the second installment of the state fee. We received the trademark registration certificate, which we provided to the client, with which we completed the trademark registration procedure in July 2020.
