In October 2019, we were contacted by a client who assigned us the registration of a combined national mark for goods and services in classes 3, 5, and 29 of the Nice Classification. Before applying the trademark for registration, we conducted a trademark clearance search and prepared a written legal analysis. We provided information to the client about the registration procedure, as well as a brochure and e-book containing useful information about the trademarks and proceeded with applying the trademark for registration at the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, after which we paid the first installment of the state fee. After the publication of the application in the bulletin of the Patent Office, no opposition and objections were filed within the stipulated three-month period, due to which the trademark was registered after we paid the second installment of the state fee. We received the trademark registration certificate, which we provided to the client, and thus completed the trademark registration procedure in June 2020.
