In May 2020 we were contacted by a client with whom we have worked on several projects in the last year. The client provided us with a combined trademark and assigned us to conduct a trademark clearance search for the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria for goods in classes 3 and 25 of the Nice Classification of Goods and Services. After conducting the trademark clearance search, it turned out that there was a high risk of opposition, as similar marks were found that were registered and used for similar goods. We provided the results of the search to the client and advised him not to register this trademark, as there is a possibility of opposition. Our client took into account our recommendations.
