We have successfully registered two European Union trademarks

June 10, 2019

by

The registration of two European Union marks for which we filed applications in January 2019 was finalized as our client wishes to have protection for services in Class 36 of the Nice Classification of Goods and Services. The two marks are combined marks and have an effect on the territory of all 28 EU Member States. At the beginning of our work with the client, we provided him with a brochure and e-book containing useful information and articles on trademarks. We then provided to the client detailed information about the entire EU trademark registration procedure and then we conducted a preliminary trademark search that we believe is the most important part of the trademark registration process. Having conducted the search, it turned out that there were no violations of earlier foreign rights and we proceeded with submitting the applications for registration of the two trademarks at the Office electronically. The Trademarks successfully passed the formal expertise and the expertise on absolute grounds for refusal and were published in the bulletin. No objections and oppositions were filed within the three-month period provided by the law, and the marks were successfully registered, for which registration certificates were issued.
