In March 2019, a client with whom we have worked on a number of other projects contacted us and commissioned us to prepare a copyright surrender agreement, whose legal regime is laid down in Art. 36 of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights. The purpose of the parties of the agreement is one of them to provide the exclusive right to a translation, which, in accordance with Art. 3, para. 2, item 1 of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights is subject to copyright. The agreement was drafted and provided to the client within the agreed time. The agreement we have drafted has the following content:
- The subject matter of the agreement;
- Territorial scope;
- Rights and obligations of the Author;
- Rights and obligations of the User;
- Confidentiality clauses;
- Remuneration and method of payment;
- Term of the agreement;
- Penalties;
- Final provisions.
