In November 2018, a client contacted us and hired us to perform a preliminary search of a wordmark, that the client wishes to register for goods in Class 29 of the Nice classification. Our client wishes to register a national trademark at the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, which has an effect on the territory of Bulgaria. Having conducted a search in the databases containing all the filed for registration and registered trademarks, it turned out that no identical and/or similar trademarks were found, so we advised our client to proceed with the application for registration of the mark, as there is no risk of filing of oppositions.
