In March 2018, a client contacted us, who had changed the seat and registered address of his company that is the owner of the trademark. The client assigned us to record the changed address in the Patent Office since according to Article 40 of the Law on Marks and Geographical Indications, the proprietor or the applicant of a trademark is obliged to notify the Patent Office of any change in its name and address within three months after the change occurs. In fulfillment of this obligation of Article 40 we prepared the necessary documents for the entry of the change of the address of the trademark proprietor, we filed the documents at the Patent Office and paid the state fee. After a few days, the change was successfully recorded and finally, we provided the client with a document certifying this change.
