An amendment to the Electronic Commerce Act has been proposed by a draft of the law amending the Electronic Commerce Act. The aim is to provide the necessary legal framework at the national level for the effective implementation of the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 on the promotion of fairness and transparency for business users of online intermediary services. In this way, the Republic of Bulgaria will fulfill its obligations as an EU member state. Interested parties have the right to express their proposals and opinions within 30 days.
