In January 2019 a client who is a proprietor of two national marks contacted us. The proprietor of the marks is a legal person and a change has been made to the address of the management of the company – the proprietor of the marks. The client instructed us to prepare the necessary documents to record the change in the file of the marks in order to comply with the requirements of Art. 40 of the Marks and Geographical Indications Act. We prepared all the documents for the recording of the entry, paid the state fee and filed the documents at the Patent Office. Within a few days, the change was successfully recorded. We have provided two certificates to the client (for each mark respectively) of the change made and thus we successfully completed this project.
