In April 2017, a client, that is a food producer has contacted us and hired us to register his company as a data controller at the Commission for Personal Data Protection. We have explained to the client the registration procedure, filled in the application for registration of a data controller, as well as the forms on the registers kept by the controller, namely: “Staff” and “Contractors” register. We have also drafted an instruction on the protection of personal data under Ordinance No. 1 of 30 January 2013 for the minimum level of technical and organizational measures and the allowed type of personal data protection. We have submitted the documents to the Commission for Personal Data Protection and after two weeks the client was registered as a data controller.
