The Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria (BPO), the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) and the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) warn on their websites of attempts applicants or holders of industrial property to be deceived and mislead by the receipt of unwanted misleading invoices and letters for payment of services by companies with names and contact details by which the latter could be associated with BPO, OHIM and WIPO.
Please, be aware that the offered services in these invoices and letters are not connected with any official industrial property registration services provided by BPO, OHIM, WIPO or other patent offices. Therefore, you are advised to carefully check whether such invoices and letters originate from these institutions. In case you have any doubts, please consult your industrial property representative or contact BPO, OHIM or WIPO.
